So many things..so little time. I think I need to put up a calender, at this rate! :) Ah..it keeps me out of trouble, and that is always a good thing. So friday night from 5-9, we have the Obamathon at the Verdi Club in San Francisco. I'll be there with my sprays and Obama stencil...so bring a pre washed shirt and I'll spray it for you for 5 bucks! I'll also have pre sprayed shirts, posters, spokecards and..of course..Stencil 1 stencils!!

Saturday I'll be with my Petaluma Craft Mafia gals at the Sacramento Craft Mafia's Craftoberfest! Held at the Sacramento News and Review parking lot from 10-4pm..this is going to be loads of crafty fun! can't wait!! If you're in the area, stop by and say hi!! :)

This is the newest Petaluma piece added to my etsy store, based on the historic Lan Mart building downtown. I've been trying to add at least one new piece everyday, so be sure to check often!

I've also partnered up with Ed at Stencil 1 to make some schtuff for the Stencil 1 Etsy shop. The Stencil 1 stencils are copyrighted, so to be able to make things to sell with this imagery is a great honor for me! Thanks again Ed!!

I call it 'Every Robot has a Silver Lining', below is the Robot Tote Bag....loving the Robot stencil!!

Petaluma Stencils

I got a little bit of inspiration..well, let's say I'm using a little bit of the enormous amount of inspiration I got at the New art 08 show. :) I spent the weekend cutting some stencils of various memorable spots in my hometown of Petaluma. I've used two of them so far and loved the results enough to finally put something new up for sale on my etsy store! Here are three little canvasies I've gone through so far..I think I see cards, canvases and canvas bags in the horizon!! :)

New Art O8, over and done

Yeah..we survived! A big shout out to my momma and my aunt Mar, I don't know what I would have done without their help. We were spraying Obama t shirts all-night-long! I would spray and mom/mar would iron. It was a pretty good little system we had going..:) the show, in all, was awesome! We had such a great time. The people were so friendly and excited, the energy was grrrr-eat, the hotel is a trip-if you can ever make it to check it out, or even stay the night, I highly recommend it. It seemed a little odd at first, please come into my room..one man even thanked us for inviting him back to our room..I swear he just walked in on his own!! :)..but that's how it was, easy, breezy..casual. I would love to do it again! I'll be posting the "leftovers" on etsy..stay tuned!

the wall of stencils...too fun!

Craftaluma..What a Show!

So, pheww...what a show! For the record, this was my first big Rock n Roll Crafts show. I did a lot of prep to get ready..can you believe I threw my shoulder out stenciling? Yeah, that much stenciling...;0 Of course, totally worth it as I was pretty happy with how my table looked..not to say that I don't already have like 10 other projects I already want to get started on..

Here is the PCM table..two of the elusive members are hiding behidn the red flowers..Cheryl, I can see you hiding..;)

This is some of the relative calm, as the vendors were still setting up.

and here is some of the storm as the doors opened. You might notice that white goody bag the woman in the green is toting..we gave those out to the first 50 people in line..those bags went f.a.s.t.!

Here's Alison "the Needle", showing off her goods..the embroidery to her right..and some of Moxieville's cool kitchen towels..

This is Tami and her sister..and some of her too cute plushies!
I know, I didn't get enough pictures..I did get some video of the Bluebellies..they Rock! I just want to say that Craftaluma was AWESOME! All of the Vendors were so nice and sooooo creative. Let's see..Knitted neck ties, Miniature Dromedary's, custom screen print tshirts, owls and owls on everything, unpaper, plushrooms..I was in awe..and the energy of the crowd and the grooving tunes from Jeff Toriano and then The Bluebellies..it truly was a show of crafts, curiousties and wonderment! A big huge, gigantor THANK YOU to Cheryl, Tami and the Craft Mafia! ...I can't wait for the next one..I'll let you know when..
In the meantimee..be sure to check back as I start to post my goods for sale!
